Easee Amp Metering Package (without Equalizer)

The Easee Amp Metering Package is for people who already have an Easee Equalizer P1 and want to use dynamic load balancing and solar charging without a smart meter. The package does not include an Easee Equalizer. It includes the Equalizer AMP meter and its current-transformer clamps.

Important: Equalizer AMP does not work on its own; an Easee Equalizer P1 is required. It is currently not compatible with the Equalizer HAN variant. If you do not yet have an Equalizer, choose the Easee Equalizer Amp Package, which includes the Equalizer P1.

What is in the package?

• 1× Equalizer AMP – an energy meter that measures consumption in real time
• 3× CT clamps (current transformers) – for measuring consumption per phase and optimising energy distribution

Why choose the Easee Amp Metering Package?

• No smart meter needed – with the CT clamps, AMP measures current directly in the distribution board and sends the data to the Equalizer.
• Dynamic load balancing – charging power adjusts in real time to the building’s consumption, helping avoid overload and costly grid-capacity upgrades.
• Direct solar charging – the vehicle can charge with self-generated solar energy, while charging speed adapts to the energy available.
• For single- and three-phase systems – one CT clamp is enough for a single-phase connection.

Solar charging is available where enabled by the Equalizer software update.
